About Thrill Frequency
Thrill Frequency is the creative home of William Russell, a New Jersey-based DJ and music artist shaped by the energy of the Jersey Shore and the pulse of live performance. It serves as the foundation for two distinct but connected identities: Will the Thrill, his DJ and entertainment brand, and RUSSLL, his artist project focused on original music and creative expression.
Since 2015, Will the Thrill has been the driving force behind William’s presence in the DJ world. What began with school events at Donovan Catholic High School quickly evolved into university-sanctioned events at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he provided professionally curated background music for campus functions. During his time at Saint Joseph’s, he was selected as a student-performance opening act for major campus concerts, including the 2018 spring concert featuring T-Pain and the 2019 spring concert featuring DJ Pauly D and Sean Kingston. From the start, his mission has been clear: to craft an atmosphere where music elevates the entire experience. That philosophy became the backbone of his brand—and ultimately inspired the name Thrill Frequency. “Thrill” represents the emotional energy of a great event, while “Frequency” reflects the power and presence of the music itself.
In 2019, William expanded into the Philadelphia nightlife scene, securing a residency at JD McGillicuddy’s in Manayunk during his senior year at Saint Joseph’s. At the same time, he began opening for internationally recognized EDM artists at Club NOTO in center city Philadelphia. To date, Will the Thrill opened for some of the world's top-tier DJ/producers; including globally ranked DJs such as Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke and Hardwell, as well as respected names like Blasterjaxx, W&W, Dannic, Sam Feldt, 4B, and Henry Fong.
From 2023 onward, Will the Thrill has maintained a strong presence along the Jersey Shore, holding a weekly summer residency at Nardi’s in Long Beach Island from Memorial Day through Labor Day. He has also joined the nationally recognized Bingo Loco team, delivering high-energy DJ performances at bingo rave events across the East Coast.
Thrill Frequency represents the next evolution of this journey. It is not just a name, but a platform — bringing together performance, professionalism, and creativity under one unified vision. As the official DJ brand of Thrill Frequency, Will the Thrill delivers high-energy entertainment across a wide range of events, from nightlife and national touring experiences to private celebrations, corporate functions, and weddings. Every performance is rooted in a commitment to creating unforgettable moments through music.
